FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, will welcome the Yale Alumni Association of New York Tuesday evening, July 12th. The playwright and cast (including Yale alumnus Mark H. Dold) will host a Q&A session with the group immediately following the performance at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater, 10 West 64th Street (at Central Park West). This very special event will be open to the entire audience free of charge and will be moderated by Jack Thomas, one of the production's lead producers and Chairman of the Yale Alumni Fund. FREUD'S LAST SESSION is the winner of the 2011 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play and additional productions are already set through 2012 in major markets across the nation and around the world.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION centers on legendary psychoanalyst Dr. Sigmund Freud (Martin Rayner), who invites the young, rising academic star C. S. Lewis (Mark H. Dold) to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda. On the day England enters World War II, Freud and Lewis clash on the existence of God, love, sex, and the meaning of life - just two weeks before Freud chooses to take his own. Not just a powerful debate, this is a profound and deeply touching play about two men who boldly addressed the greatest questions of all time.

Mark St. Germain's celebrated new play was suggested by the bestselling book The Question of God by Harvard's Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION is directed by Tyler Marchant.
There have been an unusually large number of celebrities spotted throughout the season at FREUD'S LAST SESSION, including such luminaries as Woody Allen, Alec Baldwin, Barbara Walters, Dick Cavett, Marcia Gay Harden, Jerry Stiller, Andy Rooney, Patricia Heaton, John Cleese, Dan Lauria, Celeste Holm, Tina Louise, T.R.
