Mark Lamos will stage a reading of You Can't Take It With You for The Acting Compay at Playwrights Horizons on Monday, February 8th at 7pm. The cast for the reading, headed by Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham, also features Matt Amednt, Casey Biggs, Patricia Conolly, Stephen DeRosa, Harriet Harris, Pamela Hyberg, Angela Pierce, David Schramm, and Andrew Weems.

You Can't Take It With You was written by George S Kaufman and Moss Hart and won a Pulitzer Prize in 1937.

Lamos is currently the artistic director of The Westport Country Playhouse and is set to direct the opening musical product for Wesport's 80th season, She Loves Me, April 20 through May 8th.

Abraham started his career in a Los Angeles production of Ray Bradbury's The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit. His screen credits include Scarface, Amadeus (for which he won an Academy Award in 1984), Serpico, and All the President's Men, among others. Theatre credits include Othello, Richard III, Waiting for Godot, Twelfth Night, and The Merchant of Venice.
