DESPERATE WRITERS To Close June 25

The Off-Broadway comedy Desperate Writers will play its final performance at the Union Square Theatre (100 East 17th Street at Park Avenue South) on Saturday, June 25 at 8pm. Directed by Kay Cole, Desperate Writers is written by Joshua Grenrock & Catherine Schreiber and stars Maddie Corman (Broadway's Next Fall) and Jim Stanek (recent Off-Broadway revival of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Broadway's The Story of My Life, Lestat, ...Forum) with Stephen Berger, Angel Desai, Christopher Durham, Kelsey Nash, Susan Louise O'Connor, Vayu O'Donnell, Catherine Schreiber and also starring Pauletta Washington (most recently Off-Broadway's Love, Loss and What I Wore). The NYC premiere of Desperate Writers began performances on May 16 and had its official opening on Monday, June 6.
