Casey Nicholaw, Darren P. Deverna & Martin Grant to be Honored at NYMF's 2015 Gala

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) (Executive Director & Producer Dan Markley) will honor Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw, theatre executive and producer Darren P. DeVerna and former NYMF board chair Martin Grant at its 2015 Gala to be held on Sunday, November 15th at the Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan (240 W 47th St, New York, NY 10036).

Each November, NYMF holds a gala celebrating the year's artistic triumphs and honoring select individuals whose work has contributed to the continued vitality of musical theatre. Held at the beautiful Edison Ballroom, an historic Times Square landmark, this one of a kind event is attended by an exclusive group of musical theatre enthusiasts, Broadway artists, and leading members of the theatre industry. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception and silent auction, after which guests will be treated to a gourmet meal and a star-studded show.

The honorees will be celebrated via performances by Broadway stars and NYMF alumni in an evening of entertainment directed by Mark Waldrop (Bea Arthur on Broadway: Just Between Friends).

Casey Nicholaw, a Tony Award winner for his work on The Book of Mormon, most recently gained a Tony nomination for his direction of Something Rotten!. Over the years, Nicholaw's Broadway credits have earned many award nominations for new musicals, including Tony-nominated choreography and direction for The Drowsy Chaperone and choreography for Disney's Aladdin and Monty Python's Spamalot.

With over 35 years of experience in the theatre, Darren P. DeVerna is the CEO of Global Theatrical Production for Production Resource Group LLC (PRG) - responsible for the company's global theatrical division, which includes Broadway, West End and touring theatrical productions. DeVerna is a Partner at Grove Entertainment and is a producer of and investor in many Broadway and West End productions.

Martin Grant served for seven years as a board member, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Board of The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Grant is a Principal and Financial Advisor in the New York office of Bernstein Private Wealth Management where he manages investments for high-net-worth families, individuals and foundations.
