COUGAR THE MUSICAL Releases New Block of Tickets Through March

A new block of tickets is now available for the hit off-Broadway show, Cougar the Musical. A perfect holiday gift, Cougar the Musical has become this season's surprise musical hit, created by Donna Moore with direction and choreography by Tony Award Nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett. Cougar the Musical began performances on August 10 and opened to rave reviews on August 26, 2012, and has opened up a new block of tickets, now on sale through March 3, 2013 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street), available through or by calling (212) 239-6200.

Cougar the Musical unleashes three divine but disillusioned women who develop a taste for hot, young men. They let their inner cougar roar and purr, finding self-love and empowerment in the process. The sexy, ferocious cast of three fabulous-over-forty women and one multi-talented boy toy sing and dance their way through a satiating range of original songs, from grinding blues, to doo-wop, to pop to "Julio," a romantic ballad, sung to a vibrator. Hilarious, soulful and sexy, Cougar the Musical is a madcap ride from Cougar Bar to nail salon to boudoir and back as the women learn to say "yes" to getting older, "yes" to trust and friendship and "yes" to proving that love is ageless.

Audiences and critics have been saying "Yes" to Cougar the Musical: "THESE CATS SURE CAN ROAR" NY Post; "The script reflects considerable imagination and is filled with original melodies." The New York Times; "This Off-Broadway tuner is funny, raucous, sweetly sentimental and romantic. There is a lot more to Cougar The Musical than you might expect. " NY1; "Cougar has a lot going for it. It's surprisingly charming." Associated Press; "Cougar The Musical," is perrrrrrrrrrrfectly fun.  I laughed for an hour and half.  This is the perfect girl's night out." Times Square Chronicle; "Roaring great time at the theatre." Amsterdam News.
