COLIN QUINN: THE NEW YORK STORY, Based on Off-Broadway Show, Now Streaming on Netflix
Netflix is currently streaming the new special Colin Quinn: The New York Story, written by and starring Colin Quinn and directed by Jerry Seinfeld. Colin Quinn The New York Story is based on his hit off-Broadway comedy.
In Colin Quinn: The New York Story, Colin reminisces about the rise and fall of his hometown, the city formally known as NY from its modest beginnings as Dutch outpost to the hipsters of modern Williamsburg. Quinn is once again at his satirical best, taking aim at the prejudices, paranoias and peculiarities that make New York City the crossroads of the world.
Colin Quinn: The New York Story marked Colin's return to the New York stage after his acclaimed Off-Broadway show Colin Quinn: Unconstitutional, for which he also toured the country, and his Broadway engagement of Long Story Short, for which he was nominated for the Drama Desk Award as well as an Emmy Award for the HBO broadcast of the play.
