CAPTURE NOW ends 8-week run at The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street.

National tour to theatres and colleges, and film version being planned.

CAPTURE NOW -- the play written and performed by Josh Jonas -- will conclude its Off-Broadway run at the Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street in Manhattan following the evening performance on Saturday, December 6, it has been announced by the producers Kurt Peterson and Jane Bergère.

A heartwarming and powerful tale about a teenager and his 4-year-old brother and the unique bond that forms between them as they discover rock and roll music, how to be cool, who you would die for and what it really means to be brothers through and through, CAPTURE NOW will have played 14 previews and 42 performances when it concludes its 8-week run on December 6.

Directed by Larry Moss (SYRINGA TREE, RFK, RUNT OF THE LITTER), CAPTURE NOW has been well-received by audiences and critics alike:

The New York Times called the play, "Striking....Josh Jonas tells the story with command. An illusion has been conveyed, no small feat, that." Theatermania said, "Josh Jonas gives a vibrant and effecting performance, radiating joy one minute and conveying profound sorrow the next." CAPTURE NOW "is a glimmering gem of a play...it packs a devastatingly honest wallop," wrote Talkin' Broadway.

According to the producers, a national tour and film version of CAPTURE NOW are being planned.

CAPTURE NOW performs Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 and 8 p.m. Tickets are $56.50. Student rush tickets are $25.00 -- cash only, day-of-performance. For ticket information and reservations, call Telecharge at 212 239-6200 or www.telecharge.com.
