Antonique Smith Joins the Cast of ABDUCTION

Antonique Smith, known for her highly praised portrayal of Faith Evans in the 2009 hit bio-drama Notorious, has joined the cast of the upcoming action-thriller Abduction. The film, directed by John Singleton, stars Taylor Lautner, Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver, Maria Bello and Jason Isaacs.
The Lionsgate thriller is centered around a young man (Lautner), who after seeing his baby picture on a missing children's website sets out to uncover the truth about his life. Smith plays the role of CIA Agent Sandra Burns, loyal partner of Agent Frank Burton (Molina), who seek out to protect Lautner as he gets closer to the truth.Smith, first garnered attention in her buzz worthy leading role in RENT on Broadway as Mimi Marquez, where director Michael Greif is quoted as saying Antonique "made the whole show better".
