59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) and Page 73 Productions has announced casting for Samuel D. Hunter's JACK'S PRECIOUS MOMENT, which receives its World Premiere at Americas Off Broadway at 59E59 Theaters from May 21 - June 13. Opening Night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26 at 7:30 PM.

Eddie Kaye Thomas, who rose to prominence from his role as Paul Finch in the film American Pie (and its subsequent sequels), stars as Bib, a young man coming to terms with his faith and his family, who sets out on a trip to the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO. Mr. Thomas, whose stage work includes the Off Broadway production of Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, as well as the Broadway production of The Dairy of Anne Frank (with Natalie Portman), currently stars in the HBO series How to Make It In America.

Joining Mr. Thomas in the cast is Tom Bloom (Cyrano de Bergerac with Kevin Kline; "Guiding Light"), Lucas Papaelias (Cyrano de Bergerac with Kevin Kline) and Karen Walsh (Pygmalion at the Roundabout; Accent on Youth at MTC).

JACK'S PRECIOUS MOMENT, written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by Kip Fagan, begins previews on Friday, May 21 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 13. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Wednesday at 7:30 PM; Thursday - Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. The ticket price is $25 ($17.50 for 59E59 Members).
