Lauren Marie Albert brings her work to the Robert Moss Theater as part of the New York International Fringe Festival.

A LONG WALK HOME
created by Lauren Marie Albert

featuring Stacy Jordan and Meryl Williams

Lauren Marie Albert is an emerging Brooklyn-based performance artist and twice recipient of acclaimed Harold Clurman Center for New Works in Movement and Dance Theatre (MAD) residency. She was most recently named "emerging-artist" in the International SpringBoard Danse Montreal Residency. Lauren and her duo, popular songstresses, "The Sweetness", brings her original work back to a New York Stage as a part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Theatre Festival- FringeNYC! After her lover leaves her she hits herself over the head with a pot causing her to adopt a syndrome known as Foreign Accent Syndrome(FAS). With only her two Angels to guide her, she struggles to find her true voice and return home as she throws herself into a fire and questions her sanity. Watch as she fights to find her soul and a place to call home in a witty physical performance about failed love incorporating live music and dance!
