A CHRISTMAS CAROLl At The Merchant's House Returns For A 7th Year!

In December 1867, Charles Dickens arrives in New York City for a month of sold-out performances of his beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Join Mr. Dickens, portrayed by actor John Kevin Jones, as he tells his timeless Christmas tale in the elegant intact Greek Revival parlor of the landmark 1832 Merchant's House Museum (29 East 4th Street, Manhattan).

Summoners Ensemble Theatre brings their production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL back to the Merchant's House Museum for the seventh smash year in a row.

Surrounded by 19th century holiday decorations, flickering candles, and richly appointed period furnishings, audiences will be transported back 150 years in this captivating one-hour performance created from Dickens' own script. Performances run November 29 through January 5.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT! WITH MR. DICKENS Join Mr. Dickens for Christmas Spirit! in the cozy 19th century kitchen for mulled wine and light Dickensian holiday fare. Mr. Dickens (John Kevin Jones) will present the beloved poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas," by Clement Clark Moore. Selected performances only, beginning December 6. Christmas carolers add to the merriment on December 23 and 24, and Champagne Punch is served on December 30 and 31. Only 20 tickets available per night. $40-$45.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the MERCHANT'S HOUSE, Charles Dickens in New York, 1867, is presented by Summoners Ensemble Theatre in association with the Merchant's House Museum. Performances take place in the landmark 1832 Merchant's House Museum, New York City's only 19th century family home preserved intact, inside and out.
