92Y Presents Pat Cooper in Conversation with Colin Quinn 1/25

Few comics today can say they have worked with the likes of George Burns, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Bobby Darin. Pat Cooper can, and comes to 92nd Street Y on Tuesday, January 25 to talk about his life and amazing career, with Colin Quinn. Cooper's new memoir - How Dare You Say How Dare Me! - was published in November, 2010. Quinn, best known for his five years on Saturday Night Live, as the sidekick/announcer of MTV's game show Remote Control and as host of Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, is currently starring on Broadway in his one-man show, Long Story Short.
Cooper (born Pasquale Caputo), grew up in Brooklyn, dropping out of high school twice and working as a bricklayer and furrier before devoting his time to comedy. From his big break on The Jackie Gleason Show in 1963 he went on to play the top nightclubs in Atlantic City and Las Vegas during the Rat Pack's heyday, gaining notoriety as an "angry" comiC.
