HAHA! HUMBUG GHOST TOURS - Ebenezer’s Entertainment Group Non Equity Auditions

Are you an actor or comedian with a flair for storytelling and a love for history? We are casting for 2 characters for our walking ghost tours:

Ebenezer Scrooge - Larger than life, passionate, grouchy, and ghost-loving host of the evening. Must be comfortable staying in character for the duration of the tour. This character must be able to do crowd work and off-the-cuff improvisation with guests.

Ebenezer’s Assistant - Proper, slightly embarrassed of Scrooge, caring, and takes pride in history and knowledge. This role brings the tour back on track after Ebenezer’s crazy antics. It is the straight man role.

Ebenezer’s is seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as Historical Tour Guide Actors/Comedians for the holiday season.

Responsibilities:

• Lead entertaining and engaging walking historical or ghost tours
• Perform in a semi-scripted show with a festive twist.
• Deliver live storytelling and historical insights to groups of tourists and locals
• Ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants

Requirements:

• Prior acting, improv or stand-up comedy experience preferred.
• Prior tour guide experience is a plus
• Available weekends from end of November through the first week in January (priority casting for future shows)
• Excellent communication, projection and performance skills
• Ability to engage and captivate diverse audiences
