BOHEMIAN VALENTINE - SEEKING VIRTUAL SUBMISSIONS FROM NON-EQUITY ACTORS FOR THE UPCOMING PRODUCTION.
Synopsis: Set in current day NYC, Bohemian Valentine follows a young man Michael who's recently lost the love of his life and begins photographing his memories as a way to help himself heal and move on. Mixing humor, tragedy and a beautifully charged romance, Bohemian Valentine is a darkly funny and romantic look at love and loss while facing life's ever changing moments.
CHARACTERS:
MICHAEL: Male presenting. 30s-40s. This character communicates throughs of suicide and depression. There is one scene of sexual contact between Michael and his partner, Kate.
KATE: Female presenting. 30s-40s. Michael's partner. She has scenes of acute grief associated with pregnancy loss and depression.
SARA: Michael's sibling. 30s-40s. THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST.
FRANCIS/NICK/MAX et al: Male Presenting. No requirements on age. Various characters both humorous and gentle.
SAMANTHA: late 20s-late 30s. Open to all gender identities. Strong comedic timing suggested.
