We are announcing an open call for Before it Hurts, a physical theater performance piece, led by Jillian Garibaldi (co-director/movement) and Cerulean Long (co-director/text).
Before It Hurts is a relational duet consisting of seven scenes, each dissecting an intricate, intimate relationship formed around the death of another. To be choreographed and devised around a scripted text, it presents a visceral navigation of the push and pull in various forms of intimacy and the messiness of grieving.
We're calling 2 female/non-binary actors/movers, preferably also identifying as queer or BIPOC.

Rehearsals: starting on September 21 (3 rehearsals per week, 3 hours each rehearsal)
