B-BOYS BLUES THE PLAY - HERE Arts Center Non Equity Auditions

'B-BOY BLUES * THE PLAY" SEEKS UNDERSTUDIES/REPLACEMENTS: After its sold out debut performance during the Downtown Urban Theater Festival (for which it won the Audience Award),"B-Boy Blues * The Play" will return for three Equity showcases (June 4, 5 and 8, 2013) during the DUTF's Encore Series at the HERE Arts Center in New York, and has also earned a"Spotlight" in the DC Black Theatre Festival (June 26, 2013).

Looking for UNION and NON-UNION ACTORS with stage presence, charisma, and sex appeal to be understudies/replacements for two male lead roles (a Black male couple, age range of 21-35), five featured male roles (Black/Puerto Rican/Dominican/Multiethnic, age range 21-35), and two featured female roles (Black women, mid-20s to early 40s). Vocal/hip-hop dance skills A+.
