Amazing Sammo Productions at Gorilla Tango Theatre is seeking 3-5 Males; 3-4 Females, Ages 18+, all types for Dark Comedy; Also looking for Stage Manager, previous experience not required but preferred.
An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein, written by the well-known poet and author, is a collection of short plays with various themes and morals, much like his popular poetry for children. Only these plays, as the title suggests, have more of a mature audience in mind. Subjects of plays include an intervention of a bag lady, a descriptive meeting at a bus stop, a couple debating on who goes overboard, the only talking dog in the world, and more.
Auditions: Friday May 17th 2013, 5PM-8PM; Saturday May 18th, 11AM-2PM

Time Commitment: Rehearsals run Monday/Wednesday/Fridays 8-11PM from the end of May through July; evening performances the first two weekends in August
Material to Prepare: Please prepare a 2-minute comedic monologue and a short joke ("R-rated" preferred, but also tasteful. Nothing racist, sexist, etc), headshot, and resume. Stage Managers, please bring resume and portfolio of any previous stage managing experience.
