The orchestra’s annual nod to the Royal Albert hall classic takes an even bigger step in its British tribute this year with a coronation celebration of royal proportions. The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II will be celebrated and commemorated throughout the world with an array of events, coins, parties and public holidays. Our acknowledgment to the sovereign will have a distinctive CSO flavour.
Back by popular demand, the master of LNOP, Brian Law will lead the orchestra in a concert full of all the favourites, Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, and Land of Hope and Glory as well as a record breaking attempt with God Save the Queen.
This is the night where the dressing up in red, white and blue, the waving of union jacks and the bobbing up and down is strongly encouraged in fact we highly recommend it. Join us as we salute the Queen and have a right royal time.
