The community of Orewa are in for a treat with the upcoming season of The Witches of Eastwick at CentreStage 10-25 March.

This musical show ticks all the boxes. It is hysterically funny, with outstanding music and directed by the NAPTA Award winning Director of the year, for 2016, Alexandra McKellar.

Further to this the special effects are simply stunning. This show is literally 'magical.'

Without revealing too much, the audience is guaranteed to be mesmerized by the special effects and 'just how did they manage to do that?!"

Based on the 1987 movie starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon, this 2000 musical tells the tale of the little town of Eastwick, where everyone knows everything about everyone else. Bored and fed up with their small town lives, three women - Alexandra (Alex), Sukie, and Jane - share a desire: for "all manner of man in one man" to provide excitement and variety. That man arrives, literally in a flash, in the devil-like form of Darryl Van Horne. Darryl seduces the women and teaches them powers, which they never knew they had. Scandalized by the carefree foursome, the women of the town vow to clean up the "Dirty Laundry" that is disrupting their peaceful setup.

It's all there; the laughter, the fabulous music, the outstanding performers and a great storyline at the hands of a crafted director and creative team of Musical Director Catherine Carr and Choreographer Gemma Boswell. This outstanding creative team collectively took out the best musical at the NAPTA awards last year.

Get your friends and family together for some belly-aching laughs and great entertainment.
