The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical 'Avenue Q' finally comes to New Zealand for a run at The Civic Theatre in Auckland from May 14 to May 23, 2010. Tickets will go on sale February 15.

Avenue Q is a hilarious, feel-good musical performed by a wonderful cast of puppets and humans. In what can only be described as ‘not your average musical', Avenue Q features a live-wire group of eccentric and loveable characters with everyone performing songs such as The Internet is for Porn and If You Were Gay.

Since beating Wicked for three major Tony Awards in 2004, Avenue Q has gone on to be one of longest running shows on Broadway, and remains a huge hit on London's West End. The show arrives in New Zealand after touring throughout Australia to rave reviews and sold-out houses.  Whatever you don't miss this hilarious, R-rated and highly entertaining night out at the home of musical entertainment The Civic, The Edge, Auckland.
