An independent production of Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan is hosted at Theatre UNO in the Lab Theatre, UNO Performing Arts Center, 2000 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, June 22-July 2.

Jeff, an underachieving night-shift security guard, is thrust into the center of two simultaneous scandals when William, his straight-laced supervisor becomes a key figure in the center of a murder trial, and the local beat cops, naive young Dawn and macho hot-shot Bill are caught in an ethical dilemma of their own creation.

A moving, compelling, and often hilarious exploration of moral ambiguities and the subjectivity of "Truth", Lobby Hero is written in Lonergan's (This is our Youth, Manchester by the Sea) signature style: full of well-meaning but deeply flawed characters, struggling to get out of their own way. Directed by Mike Harkins, this independent production stars Patrick Hunter (AEA), Kristin Shoffner, Thaddeus McCants (AEA) and Garrett Prejean.

Performances are June 22-July 2 at 8:00 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2:00 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $10 for students and UNO affiliates (students, staff, alumni), available online at LobbyHeroNOLA.BrownPaperTickets.com.
