The First Night Fashion Extravaganza, featuring some of Nashville's favorite actors as models, takes to the runway Monday, August 16, at 7 p.m. at Macy's at the Mall of Green Hills. The fashion show is the latest in a series of events leading up to the revival of First Night in Music City USA.

All the hottest Red Carpet Fashions from Macy's Green Hills, modeled by some of your favorite Nashville actors, will be in the spotlight just in time for you to pick out your own Red Carpet Look for the return of Nashville's favorite theatrical event: THE FIRST NIGHT NASHVILLE THEATRE HONORS (Sunday, September 19 at Belmont University's Troutt Theatre).

At the September 19 event, eight of the leading lights of the Nashville theater community will be recognized for their leadership, vision and continued commitment to the art of live theater. Honorees include Scot Copeland, producing artistic director at Nashville Children's Theatre; Paul Gatrell, chairman of the department of theater and dance at Belmont University; Kathleen O'Brien, president and CEO of the Tennessee Performing Arts Center; Sean and Bob O'Connell, co-founders of ACT 1 and GroundWorks Theatre; Mac Pirkle, founder of Southern Stage Productions and Tennessee Repertory Theatre; Barry Scott, actors/director/producer; and Shannon Wood, owner/manager of Darkhorse Theater.

Among the models: Cori, Laemmel, Christi Dortch, Britt Byrd, Jennifer Richmond, Laura Thomas Sonn, Martha Wilkinson, Jenny Noel, Alice Raver, Jenny Norris-Light, Cary Street, Andie Sanders, Lauri Gregoire, Trey Palmer, Matthew Scott Baxter, David Compton, Dietz Osborne, Bakari Jamal King and Mike Baum.

The First Night Fashion Extravaganza will start at 7 p.m. and audience members will be free to shop Macy's Green Hills until 9 p.m. Looking for a way to save bucks while wearing the hottest clothes?
