Auditions for THE SOUND OF MUSIC Held At the Roxy Regional Theatre 5/23

Local youth will have the opportunity to work alongside professional actors in THE SOUND OF MUSIC this summer, when the Roxy Regional Theatre holds auditions for the Von Trapp children on Monday, May 23, at 5pm.
The Roxy will be selecting two casts of Von Trapp children: Friedrich (14), Louisa (13), Kurt (11), Brigitta (9), Marta (7) and Gretl (6). Interested auditionees must be able to read, sing and dance, and will need to learn the song "Do Re Mi" for the audition: Doe--a deer, a female deer,Ray--a drop of golden sun,
Me--a name I call myself,
Far--a long, long way to run,
Sew--a needle pulling thread,
La--a note to follow sew,
Tea--a drink with jam and bread.
That will bring us back to do.
Do re mi fa so la ti do.THE SOUND OF MUSIC runs July 16 through August 27 at the Roxy Regional Theatre, playing Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, with 2pm Saturday matinees on July 23 and August 6.Roxy Regional Theatre
