Cirque du Soleil Returns to Calgary With AMALUNA

Cirque du Soleil returns to Calgary with its latest big top production Amaluna which premieres on April 11, 2013 for a limited engagement under the blue-and-yellow Big Top at Stampede Park (Lot #6). Directed by Diane Paulus, a renowned theatre director from New York, Amaluna had its world-premiere in Montreal in April 2012 and is now touring North America.
URBAN TALES Returns to Centaur Theatre, Dec 12-15

URBAN TALES presented by Théâtre Urbi et Orbi and the Centaur Theatre Company, will run December 12-15, 2012. Directed by Harry Standjofski with music crafted and performed by Nick Carpenter, this sixth edition plays the 12th through 15th at 8 p.m., with a matinee performance on December 15th at 2 p.m.

Infinithéâtre has announced their upcoming production of Kafka's Ape, starring Howard Rosenstein. The play is written by Kafka and based on his short story, A Report to an Academy. Guy Sprung adapted the play from the original German and directs the production.

In this remount of Third Eye Ensemble's inaugural production of The Exonerated, we hear the words of six innocent men and women who emerged from years on death row to reclaim what is left of their lives. What does it truly mean to be exonerated? Literally, it is to be proclaimed innocent after having been convicted of a crime. But what effect does it have on a person, a soul, a life; to have one's freedom and self-respect stripped away and then, ostensibly, returned years later, after decades of incarceration?
