On our Main Stage in April, we at the Equinox Theatre are doing what we do best, ADOLESCENCE. Yes, we're bringing back the thrill of puberty and the angst of over achieving in this Tony Award winning show that chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Supervised by "grown-ups" who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, these kids learn that winning may not be the only thing and losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. Join us as we present this musical that celebrates an improbable collection of heroes: a peculiar yet endearing group of refugees for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can harmonize and sing solo at the same time.
Shows run at 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays from April 1st - April 16th. There will be a complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres party at 7:30pm on opening night. Reservations are recommended at 406-587-0737, ext.1. The Equinox Theatre is located at 2304 North 7th Ave., in the strip mall across from Murdoch's.
