Four young lovers flee into the forest, becoming unwitting pawns of Oberon, the Fairy King and Titania, his Queen. Trickery, trials and tribulations (as well as Edwardian lingerie) appear on stage as Park Square Theatre presents A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, William Shakespeare's marvelous mix-up of enchantment, merriment and farce under the light of the midsummer moon.

Jef Hall-Flavin returns to direct one of Shakespeare's best-loved plays with four public performances on Nov. 18, 20, 27 and 28 and midmorning student matinees. He directed Park Square's sold-out productions in 2006 and 2008.

Andrea Wollenberg joins the cast as Titania/Hippolyta, along with other newcomers to the Park Square Midsummer production Adia Morris (Helena/Snug/Cobweb) and Eric Sharp (Demetrius/Snout/Peaseblossom). Returning cast members from the 2008 production include Hope Cervantes (Hermia/Starveling/Mustardseed), David Coral (Quince/Egeus/First Fairy), Paul C. de Cordova (Oberon/Theseus), Dave Gangler (Puck/Philostrate), Terry Hempleman (Bottom) and Matthew Rein (Lysander/Flute/Mote).

Four public performances will be presented on November 18, 20, 27 at 7:30 p.m., and November 28 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $36-$56. Group, senior and special prices for those 30 and under are available. Tickets can be purchased online at www.parksquaretheatre.org or by phone at 651-291-7005.

Park Square Theatre's award-winning education program serves more than 25,000 teens each year, offering professional productions of literary classics and contemporary plays for students in grades 7-12. A Midsummer Night's Dream will be presented to more than 6,000 students during midmorning matinees from November 16 through December 17. Limited public seating is available during student matinees. Contact the box office at 651-291-7005 as starting times vary for student performances.
