Act II Programming Returns With UNTIL THE FLOOD At Milwaukee Rep

Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents Until The Flood performed by powerhouse creator and Pulitzer Prize finalist Dael Orlandersmith in the Stiemke Studio beginning March 13 through April 22. With Until the Flood brings the return of the much praised and sought after community engagement program - Act II. After each of the 48 performances of Until The Flood a guest responder, representing a broad range of community leaders, will give a five minute response to the show, followed by small group facilitated discussions led by trained members of the Zeidler Center for Public Discussion.

At 90 minutes without an intermission, this is a wonderfully well-written piece of theater, and one that's a worthy kick-off for Milwaukee's new Constructivists. Artistic Director Jaimelyn Gray says this play captures the kind of the work they hope to produce: 'Funny, quirky, sad, with a mess of emotion.'
