Come join the Burns Park Players as they present their production of The Wizard of Oz.
Following the timeless story of L Frank Baum’s novel, The Wizard of Oz tells the story of a young girl who is transported from the dreary plains of Kansas to the surreal world of Oz. The production features Mary Chatigny as Dorothy, JD Benison as Toto, Greg Huntoon as Scarecrow, Olivia Post as Tinman, and Deb Odom Stern as Lion. Rounding out the cast are the students of Burns Park Elementary and residents of the Burns Park community. The show is directed by Caroline Huntoon, and the team features choreography by Sam Carter and music direction by Eric Lofstrom, with producers Spectrum Staging LLC.
The show runs February 29 – March 3 at the Michigan Theatre in Ann Arbor. Performances will take place at 7pm, with a 2pm matinee instead on March 3. Tickets start at $21 and are available at www.burnsparkplayers.org.
