Magenta Giraffe Theatre Company Presents April Workshops
Magenta Giraffe Theatre Company is thrilled to announce our April "Drop In and Pay What You Can" workshops! No reservations needed, no commitment; just stop by, have an actor workout, and network with other local professionals. Each three-hour workshop is designed for the theatre professional who never knows when he or she might have rehearsal... or a callback... or a paying job! Drop in, pay what you can at the door, and spend some time refining your craft!
We will ALWAYS welcome ALL students, regardless of his or her donation! However, in order to keep these classes going, we encourage our students to aim for the suggested donation of $15 per class. This will ensure we can continue to offer you professional training taught by working professionals!

Description of Workshops:Acting with Script in Hand: We all dread that awkward feeling of juggling a script as we try to remain "in the moment". This workshop will cover how to walk, talk, communicate and ACT with our scripts in hand. This is excellent training for cold reads, callbacks, staged readings, and rehearsals.
Special Skills: That bottom section of your resume can be your greatest asset- IF you know how to apply your special skills in auditions and performances. We will cover how to identify the abilities that make you a precious commodity, how to develop them, and practice applying those talents in real-world scenarios.Videos
