OUT@ASOLOREP Returns For The 2011-2012 Season
OUT@AsoloRep will kick off its first event of the 2011-2012 season on December 16 for the 8 p.m.
performance of My Fair Lady. Now in its third season, this premiere LGBT series offers the chance to hang out with friends and connect with the community in a comfortable, friendly environment. Asolo Rep fans represent a wide range of social, economic, ethnic and gender groups and anyone is eligible to attend.
“OUT@AsoloRep was a fantastically successful event for us last year and the year before as well. It led to a whole New Group of audience people, and it’s become an emblem for us on how we want to reach all different kinds of constituencies. There’s no one kind of audience here at Asolo Rep,” said Producing Artistic Director Michael Donald Edwards.
The event is open to everyone and each event includes a ticket to the selected performance and a post-show reception which includes hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a chance to mix and mingle with the casts in a relaxed, party setting. Patrons may purchase an OUT@AsoloRep series package including tickets to all 5 productions for just $150.
OUT@AsoloRep package seating is located in the back two rows of the mezzanine and first two rows of the balcony.
Single tickets may also be purchased for any of the dates listed below at a 25% discount off the regular ticket price for seating anywhere in the theatre. Please contact the Asolo Rep box office at 941.351.8000 to order tickets.
