SESSIONS Takes The Stage In Mexico Summer 2010

SESSIONS, the Off-Broadway musical about the everyday life of a New York therapist and his patients, will have its international premiere this summer at Teatro CEPE in Guadalajara.

The musical, written by Albert M. Tapper will open July 3, 2010. SESSIONS, which began at the Peter Jay Sharpe Theatre in 2007 prior to moving the Algonquin Theater in 2008, closed earlier this month. It starred Daytime Emmy Nominee and "Guiding Light" star Robert Newman and was produced by Jason Hewitt and Tony Sportiello/Algonquin Theater Productions. Mauricio Cedeno will produce the show in Mexico.

The Mexican production of SESSIONS will retain the title in English, but is being translated into Spanish and adapted for this production. It will also be re-orchestrated. The production team and cast will be entirely Mexican, and casting will Commence in March.
