STOMP Returns to Memphis, 6/24-25

STOMP, the international sensation, is making its triumphant return to Memphis at The Orpheum Theatre on June 24-25, 2011. The return of the percussive hit also brings some new surprises, with some sections of the show now updated and restructured and the addition of two new full-scale routines, utilizing props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans.

Now in its second year, this program recognizes achievement in all areas of high school musical theatre in the region. Theatre Memphis will hold a Talk Back session after the April 17th, 2pm matinee production of William Shakespeare's Richard III in the Next Stage at 630 Perkins Ext. The discussion will be of interest to lovers of Shakespeare, History, or dramatic literature. Director Bo List, Actor Greg Boller, who plays the title character, and Michael Leslie, Professor of English at Rhodes College will be available for comments and questions. The Talk Back will be led by Theatre Memphis Artistic Director Kell Christie.
