WHITE CHRISTMAS Comes to the Orpheum, 11/22-27

Irving Berlin's White Christmas, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film is coming to The Orpheum Theatre this holiday season. Get ready to discover a delightful new show that's as fresh and rare as newly fallen snow from Tuesday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 27.

Irving Berlin's White Christmas tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the process.

Full of dancing, romance, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep," "Happy Holiday," "Sisters," "Blue Skies," and the unforgettable title song, Irving Berlin's White Christmas promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family!

Irving Berlin's White Christmas features music and lyrics by Irving Berlin with book by David Ives and Paul Blake and is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank. The creative team includes direction by Norb Joerder, choreography by Randy Skinner, scenic design by Anna Louizos, scenic supervision and adaptation by Kenneth Foy, lighting design by Ken Billington, and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and Erich Bechtel. The tour is produced in agreement with R&H Theatricals, an Imagem Company.
Tickets for Irving Berlin's White Christmas are on sale now and are available online at the official Orpheum Theatre website at www.orpheum-memphis.com, The Orpheum Box Office (901-525-3000), the ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood and at all Ticketmaster centers (901-743-ARTS).

Kids' Night for Irving Berlin's White Christmas will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011. Children who attend Kids' Night participate in special activities related to the show currently playing at The Orpheum. Receive one child's ticket (ages 8-18) free with the purchase of an adult ticket at regular price (limit four free tickets per family). Special events begin at 6:40 pm in the Grand Lobby. Tickets are available at The Orpheum Box Office or The Orpheum's ticket counter at The Booksellers at Laurelwood. Certain restrictions and services charges apply.
