Young group but not least, The Subways will make a stop Feb. 26, 2012, for a concert that will, undoubtedly, set fire to the Rockhal! With an ambiance rock riffs and an amazing energy, The Subways will do everything that you do not forget any time soon.
This powerful rock band that mixes the garage and indie, straight from London, is composed of two brothers, Billy Lunn (vocals and guitar) and Josh Morgan (drums and percussion) and the ex-girlfriend Billy, Charlotte Cooper (bass, vocals and keyboard). With influences such as Nirvana, Oasis and Smashing Pumpkins to name a few, The Subways prove that they have in the belly with music more and more energetic compared to other groups that settle down with time. The Subways are not of that rank, and then they'll know.
With an experience stage of the most envied, The Subways played in the first part for Oasis, Stereophonics and Foo Fighters. Afterwards they went on tour accompanied by The Strokes, Eagles of Death Metal, or Angels and Airwaves, groups that are not really known for their concerts like calm and harmonious. A good mix concentrated in a young group, it can explode!
For their third album "Celebrity And Money", The Subways have a back to basics with producer Stephen Street (Blur, Babyshambles, Kaiser Chiefs ...). In addition to this movement, the group had the crazy idea to involve their fans to fund album, in addition to allowing them to take part in rehearsals as well as voice. This album sign a compromise between the efficiency of melodic debut album combined the power of the second rock.
