Soundgarden are among the groups that marked an entire generation, while creating their own fashion style and graphics. Soundgarden, pioneers from Seattle, have always been a separate group, radical, dark and deeply individualistic. Their savage soundscapes, coupled with overwhelming texts and roaring voice of Chris Cornell won over an audience hungry for musical depth and complexity, while creating new fashion trends and an iconic design. Their sound continued to change and evolve over the course of their five albums have sold more innovative than 21 million copies worldwide.
After the group Soundgarden in 1997, Chris, Kim, Matt and Ben have not given up: everyone started other projects. Among other things, Matt Cameron took the position of drummer chezu Pearl Jam. Chris Cornell has joined members of Rage Against The Machine to form Audioslave and continued his solo career. In 2007, he proved that he is still a monument to the rock with his performance at the Rockhal. Often considered one of the best voices in music history, it has preserved its unique identity throughout the two decades of his career crowned with multiple Grammy Awards and other awards for his work as a singer, composer and author.
When Chris Cornell has announced the return of the group in 2010, was a sensation. The dramatic meeting was followed by a highly acclaimed concert at the Lollapalooza festival and an extensive tour of North America in 2011.
In 2010, they released Telephantasm, a retrospective that celebrates the legacy of Soundgarden and present their best works to the new generation. The album contains the new song "Black Rain" which was also used by Activision for the video game "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock", which sold a million copies on the day of its release. In 2011, the group soprti his first live album ("Live on I-5"), which was recorded when the band was at the zenith of his career
