The April 6, 2012, will host the Rockhal, a young French group, originally from Nantes with much more to offer than the original name: Pony Pony Run Run. Flirting with powerful guitars and incisive, the beginning sounds very pop using the 80's becoming more and more rock. Galloping dear viewers, the show will take you by storm.
Formed in 2005 in Nantes, the band Pony Pony Run Run was first revealed his qualities on the web before exploding to the general public and recently won the famous "Victoire de la Musique of the artist" and becoming the group "Newcomer of the Year 2010". The French trio explores a power electronic pop with sharp guitars, catchy melodies, its layers of eighties synth and high-pitched voice of the singer. Music somewhere between Weezer, The Faint and the Beach Boys.
Three years after conquering the public and the press with his first album "You Need Pony Pony Run Run", thanks to his hits "Hey You" and "Walking on a Line" the trio prepares to return to Nantes in stores in February 2012 with a long awaited sequel. Their second album, was recorded in south-west of France, made on the route between Tokyo and Berlin, and mixed by Andrew Dawson (Jay-Z, Kanye West ...). Gaëtan singer, sign itself the realization of this new drive.
The production is enhanced, there are influences indie, pop, electro and, of course. With one more club-oriented album, they show us again that pop, melancholy, and club-music can coexist.
