Praised for sensitivity, clarity, intelligence and exquisite coordination Xenia Pestova received (New Zealand / Canada) and Pascal Meyer (Luxembourg) rave reviews for performances of Karlheinz Stockhausen's MANTRA. The duo has performed in New Zealand, Canada, France, Luxembourg, Denmark, Ireland and Switzerland. They played with the contemporary music ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin, Latvia, Austria and Luxembourg.
Xenia Pestova and Pascal Meyer played during the Rainy Days Festival as a solo piano concert dialogues for two pianos and large orchestra by Bernd Alois Zimmermann, with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Luxembourg (OPL), conducted by Arturo Tamayo. The same concert was performed with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Peter Hirschberg at the prestigious Festival Musica in Strasbourg.
In May of this year playing Pestova and Meyer, a new work by Pierre Klanac for Two Pianos and Orchestra with the Ensemble Contemporain de Montréal, and enters the duo in November, again at the Philharmonic with the Orchestra of Luxembourg in alignment / Agora Sonie van Clemens Gadenstätter under the direction of Peter Rundel.
