After facing folk punk, former Million Dead singer and songwriter Frank Turner has a reputation absolutely worship. He continued his solo career after the group in 2005 leaving many albums. It combines rock and poetry, he juxtaposes beautiful melodies and has an impressive stage presence that you are invited to discover the live Rockhal April 4, 2012 together with his band The Sleeping Souls.
The rise of Frank Turner continues in 2011 with appointments at various prices, exclusive services, participating in major festivals and a fourth studio album. 2011 was marked by the release of his highly anticipated album "England Keep My Bones". With his band The Sleeping Souls, Frank has recorded fifteen songs on a disc which is the characteristic sound of England he so desired.
Not surprisingly for an artist who spends most of his time traveling the album "England Keep My Bones" is a nostalgic touch - a tribute to his country, his friends and his family that he should often give up. Making the acoustic guitar in the foreground, the album is more folk than its predecessor "Poetry Of The Deed" and even contains a song a cappella interpreted in a traditional style English.
Frank was recently nominated in two categories NME Awards. First, to the impressive "Best Solo Artist" with Paul Weller, Florence And The Machine, Laura Marling and Kanye West, and for "Best Band Blog" or Twitter in recognition of his openness to fans.
He has come a long way since its inception five years ago when, after the band split Million Dead, the young artist had embarked on a solo career, armed only with an acoustic guitar.
