Charlie Winston is back after a stint in Luxembourg in 2009 much attention to the Rockhal. On April 25, 2012 the Bohemian Hobo Charlie Winston, enchant the public of the Rockhal with his new album "Still Running" as innovative and beautiful as its predecessor.
Charlie Winston is working to renew the saga of the hobos, the homeless mythical already celebrated, from Jack Kerouac to Bob Dylan. From a musical family, Charlie Winston quickly plunges into the music. His cover of "I'm a Man", shows an advertisement for a brand of German cars and gives him a first recognition in 2008. After a fantastic ride to one of the biggest hits of recent years "Like a Hobo 'Charlie Winston is back with the incredible positive energy that characterizes most of all.
Listening to his new album, we understand how Charlie is prolific, incredibly demanding and artistically ambitious. "Still Running" sounds at once like a slap sound. It is even probable that be done very quickly to this new sound, and that we come back, because his songs are addictive! On this record bright and serene, Charlie takes his ability to take us to travel a great diversity of noise. And this is where one finds the art of the artist, his way of take us through sounds confusing.
The album has traveled, like Charlie. It was recorded in two parts, between Los Angeles and Studio La Frette, magical place along the Seine. "Still Running" is one of those oxymorons that Charlie loves (the Oxymoron was even the name of one of the first groups) that sounds like the album of the state of grace.
