Following the successes of (mostly) HOLIDAY and Let the Good Times ROLL, (mostly) musicals will return to Fais Do-Do for a third time tonight, February 18. ALMOST Like Being in Love 2 is the company's 11th production in a series of themed cabarets.

"This was such a fun and popular theme last February when we were at Don't Tell Mama that we wanted to revisit it this year. There are so many typically romantic cabarets and concerts happening around Valentine's Day, it feels like a great time to look at love from a less conventional perspective. We're celebrating the kinds of love that don't quite fit on a greeting card," said amy francis schott, producer of (mostly) musicals.

(mostly) musicals prides itself on showcasing a unique assortment of songs-mostly from musicals, but also featuring pop, jazz, country -- and is equally proud to present a unique array of incredible talent to perform those songs, from Broadway veterans to recent arrivals.

This show will continue that tradition with songs by theatrical luminaries like Cole Porter, Kander & Ebb, Harold Arlen, Cy Coleman, and Ahrens & Flaherty along with up-and-coming writers like Sam Carner & Derek Gregor, Drew Fornarola, Joshua H. Cohen, and Michael Finke.

This Whitman's sampler of songs will be performed by a bouquet of talented singers including Shawn Ryan (AMERICA'S GOT TALENT), Wendy Rosoff (B'way: 42nd STREET, WHITE CHRISTMAS), Dennis Kyle, Zach Villa (B'way: WAR HORSE), Electroma, Neil Taffe (Nat'l tour: SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ, Gladys Knight), Danielle Eden, Mary Lou, Christina Morrell (Chromolume Theatre's THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS), Jason Peter Kennedy (Actors' Co-op's 110 IN THE SHADE), Amanda Kruger, Ernest Williams Jr. (VISIONARY MAN), Ashley Ruth Jones (Psyche in the world premiere of PSYCHE: A MODERN ROCK OPERA), David Crane, Alli Miller (Cherry Poppins), Chris Carlisle, Rory and Emily Dunn, and more -- plus a special performance from the new mob hit musical SERRANO! Music direction is provided by Gregory Nabours, one of Los Angeles' most sought after music directors, and award winning composer of The Trouble with Words.

An open mic afterparty will immediately follow the show.

Tickets are $10/advance and $15 /at the door. Advance tickets available at www.mostlymusicals.bpt.me. Fais Do-Do is located at 5257 W Adams, Los Angeles, 90016, between La Brea and Fairfax. Street parking is available. For more info, visit: www.mostlymusicalsLA.com.
