Whittier Community Theatre, established in 1921 (the longest running community theatre west of the Mississippi), opens its 93rd Season with The Pajama Game, running September 5 through the 20th.

Directed by Roxie Lee and musically directed by Brian Murphy, the production is choreographed by Rebbecca Schroeder and produced by Gabe Puga and Monica Francis.

Labor relations have never been so entertaining (or romantic) as when the new factory super, Sid Sorokin, locks horns with fiery union rep, Babe Williams. Winner of the Tony for Best Musical of 1954 AND Best Revival of 2006, The Pajama Game is full of familiar standards like "Hey There," "Steam Heat," and "Hernando's Hideaway." There's no better way to spend an evening, or a "Once-a-Year Day," than with the folks at the Sleep Tite pajama factory.

Featuring the talents of: Jennifer Bales, Roger Chui, Randy Calcetas, Richrd DeVicariis, Meghan Duran, Jim Gittelson, Jeri Harms, Andy Kresowski, Amy Miramontes, Jay Miramontes, Brianna Murphy, Justin, Murphy, Ben Otis, Tina Quick-Snedaker, Isabella Ramirez, Rosalva Reza, Rebecca Schroeder, Greg Stokes, and Alice Villa.

Performances are held at The Center Theatre 7630 S. Washington Ave., Whittier, CA. For information on tickets, go to www.whittiercommunitytheatre.org.
