By:

On Sunday, June 11th, World of Dance, the preeminent global dance brand, will host its 7th annual dance showcase at Universal CityWalk on the 5 Towers stage whilst introducing the World of Dance Live touring platform.

These engaging and interactive 90 minute dance showcases include the hottest stars and dance icons from Youtube and television. WOD Live brings the World of Dance to life, attracting some of the most celebrated dancers and fans from across the globe, crossing boundaries and bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together through the universal language of dance.

This year's free performance will showcase the best of the best in the dance community, including performances by some of the acts competing on NBC's new hit dance competition series "World of Dance." The series, which is the #1 new show of the summer, brings together the world's elite dancers to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism before judges Jennifer Lopez, NE-YO and Derek Hough and host/mentor Jenna Dewan Tatum.

Featuring: Jenalyn and Luka (Duet), Nick Daniels (Contemporary), Ian Eastwood and the Young Lions (Hip Hop Group), The Mihacevich Sisters (Contemporary), The Lab (Hip Hop Group), The Posse (Contemporary), Immabeast (Members from IMMA - Hip Hop), Fik-shun (Hip Hop), Mini Shock LA, Undeclared, Nat Bebko, Miniotics, Dytto, Ricky Cole, and Diana Pombo.

World of Dance is the hottest name in dance entertainment - from a network television show starring some of the biggest names in Hollywood, to dance competitions in more than 30 countries and the largest YouTube channel for dance with more than 20 million monthly views. World of Dance Live brings the World of Dance interactive experience with electric performances from local and national talent, a signature WOD host and talent meet and greet autograph sessions to towns everywhere starting this summer.

World of Dance is the preeminent global dance brand, combining the world's largest international urban dance competition with the largest digital platform for dance driving more than 30 million monthly views, and now the inspiration for the new television dance competition of the same name airing on NBC with Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough, and NE-YO. What began in 2008 as a single event has become a continent-spanning, tour de force of human spirit and sick dance moves. The World of Dance Tour and WOD Live showcase events attract YouTube stars, industry icons, and tens of thousands of fans to venues in more than 30 countries, spanning the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia. No animosity. Just pure, awe-inspiring movement. Leveraging the company's success in creating content and operating media platforms with direct consumer impact, the company provides brands with an authentic 360-degree immersion into youth culture through its full-service in-house production studio, WOD Digital Lab.
