VIDEO: MY FATHER'S A COP at The Lounge Theater
By: Alan Henry
Jerry Dean's autobiographical one-man show MY FATHER'S A COP, opened at the Lounge Theater on January 6th and runs through January 28th. This multi-media show in the style of documentary theatre tells the story of Dean's relationship with his police officer father, while Dean starts down a path of crime at a young age, a lifestyle that eventually lands him in prisons and psychiatric wards. MY FATHER'S A COP chronicles both Dean's descent into a life of crime, and how he found his way out.
MY FATHER'S A COP was co-written by Jerry Dean and Kurt Brungardt, and is directed by Mario Sorrenti.
