Towne Street Theatre Seeks Submissions for 10 Minute Play Fest

Towne Street Theatre, LA's Premiere African American Theatre Company, is accepting submissions for its 5th Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. The festival will take place during Black History Month, February 2012, at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. The theme of the festival is The Black Experience: Part 2 - LOVE. The submission deadline is November 1, 2011.
Towne Street is seeking plays that explore love in all its incarnations and manfiestations. All generes are welcome, comedy, drama, satire etc. Plays can be historical, contemporary, or futuristic, with color blind and/or multi-racial casts. Playwrights of all ethnicities and ages are encouraged to submit their work.Rules and GuidelinesThere is no processing fee ,but please do not submit more than one play. Please make sure your play is only 10 MINUTES in length and submit to tstsubmit@yahoo.com. There will be prizes for first, second, and third place audience favorites.
