Tony-Winner Levi Kreis to Play Rubicon in Concert Tonight
Rubicon Theatre Company will present, in his first Southern California performance since returning from New York City and his Tony Award-winning role as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet, Recording Artist Levi Kreis, in a one night only, benefit concert for the theatre, AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH LEVI KREIS, on Tuesday, August 30 beginning at 7:30pm.
Levi Kreis released his debut album One of the Ones following an appearance on "The Apprentice", combined with an exclusive CD premiere on Sirius/XM. Songs from his debut CD have appeared on NBC, CBS, & the CW. His sophomore release, The Gospel According To Levi, garnered film placement, and a national tour gracing over 350 cities. Levi's third CD, Where I Belong, debuted at #42 on iTunes Top Pop Album Charts with a single premiering on FX's "Sons Of Anarchy", and eventually becoming the #1 music video on MTVMusic.Com. Combined releases brought three #1 music videos for The Logo Channel, including #1 Video of 2009. In 2010, Out Magazine awarded Levi a position in the 16th annual Out 100. The same year, Levi was awarded the 2010 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Jerry Lee Lewis in the three-time Tony nominated musical Million Dollar Quartet.
