Theatre Unleashed's A VERY DIE HARD CHRISTMAS Extends Into January
Theatre Unleashed is extending its wildly popular and critically acclaimed holiday show "A Very Die Hard Christmas" for one weekend in January at The Belfry Stage in North Hollywood.
In A Very Die Hard Christmas, a team of terrorists has seized a building, taken hostages, and declared war. One man has managed to escape. An off-duty cop hiding somewhere inside. He's alone, tired...and he doesn't like Christmas. This is much more than a stage version of the holiday classic Die Hard, its parody at its best with Christmas miracles and familiar holiday friends galore. Yippee Ki-Yay, Father Christmas!
"This show had oversold houses every night of its short run in December and we had people who couldn't get in begging us to do more shows," said Artistic Director Jenn Scuderi Crafts. "It only made sense for us to offer it for at least one more weekend. And while we argue that 'Die Hard' IS a Christmas movie, let's be honest, it holds up year round!"
"A Very Die Hard Christmas" will run at 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday from Jan. 6-8. More information and tickets can be found at www.theatreunleashed.org.
