Cult comedy act The Lampshades with THE OFFICE's Kate Flannery and Scot Robinson from ANCHORMAN will be performing at Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant on Wednesday, March 29 at 8:00 P.M. Tickets are $15.00 and are available at www.flapperscomedy.com.

The funniest fake lounge act in Hollywood, The Lampshades features lots of booze jokes, musical mashups from the 70's & 80's, and two characters working out the kinks of their amusingly tortured relationship on stage while doing their act.

Kate Flannery played Meredith, the accident-prone, drunken character on all nine seasons of NBC's THE OFFICE. A Philadelphia native from a family of seven kids, she was lucky enough to start her career in Chicago where she ran with the finest group of funny people in show business. She worked in the Second City National Touring Company, in Del Close's Improv Olympic and the Annoyance Theater where she did a ton of shows like THE REAL LIVE BRADY BUNCH (which toured to over 30 cities). She won critical acclaim and more importantly the approval of her drag queen friend playing Neely O'Hara in L.A. at The Coast Playhouse and Off-Broadway at the Circle in the Square in VALLEY OF THE DOLLS, and has been the voice of Wendy on Wendy's Hamburger spots.

Scot Robinson has attended, performed and directed at Chicago's big three schools of improvisation - The Second City, Improv Olympic and The Annoyance Theatre. Over the last 20 years, Robinson helped create over thirty original shows as well as the school at the nationally renowned Annoyance Theatre with founder Mick Napier. In 1997 he moved to Los Angeles to pursue writing, acting, and teaching. Since then, Robinson has appeared in ANCHORMAN with Will Ferrell, on MAD TV, Comedy Central, the RAVENHURST radio serial, King Pictures Treasure Island, All Comedy Radio, and scattered roles in various sitcoms, independent movies, and live stage. Scot continues as an improvisation instructor at both The Second City and Improv Olympic West in Los Angeles, and teaches corporate improvisation workshops with Business Improvisations for Fortune 500 companies, The Duke Fuqua School of Business, Columbia Business School, Duke Law School, and UCLA The Anderson School of Management.
