Special Guests Katharine McPhee and Adrianna McPhee Join their Mom, Peisha, in Concert

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced that Katharine and Adriana McPhee will join their mom Peisha McPhee along with award-winning pianist Sergiu Tuhutziu for Chopin Meets Broadway at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8:30pm.

Katharine McPhee burst onto the entertainment scene during Season Five of American Idol. She is well known to TV audiences for her roles on Smash (NBC) and currently Scorpion (CBS). She has also appeared on CSI: New York, Community, Family Guy, two PBS specials, and In My Dreams (HallMark Hall of Fame). She has recorded four studio albums. Adriana McPhee served as an American Idol vocal coach and is one of the most sought-after vocal and performance coaches in entertainment. She owns and operates McPhee International Vocal Studios in Los Angeles.

In the debut presentation of Chopin Meets Broadway, Peisha McPhee and Sergiu Tuhutziu brilliantly bring to life a combination of classical music and Broadway standards. The show includes classical repertoire, including some of the most famous and romantic works of composers such as Chopin and Rachmaninoff, ingeniously arranged to match a variety of Broadway standards by the likes of great American composers from George Gershwin to Stephen Sondheim. This unique pairing of musical styles will create the flavor of a new musical genre.

Renowned singer and vocal coach Peisha McPhee has charmed audiences with her critically acclaimed solo show in Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris. She has also appeared in national tours of Showboat and Man of La Mancha throughout the country. McPhee has worked with some of music's top producers and songwriters, including John Musker, Ron Clements, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jimmy Iovine, Don Was, Rodney Jerkins, and Harvey Mason, Jr. McPhee was the premiere American Idol vocal coach, training the show's contestants and eventual winners of four seasons.

Winner of the Debut to Master Soloist Piano Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia (2013), Sergiu Tuhutziu has established himself as one of the most creative pianists of his generation. He excels in the grand romantic repertoire, combining passion with impeccable technique. Tuhutziu made his professional debut at the age of 18 with the Dinu Lipatti Philharmonic Orchestra from Satu-Mare, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. He has played concerts in England, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Brazil, Canada, and Romania. In June of this year, he won Second Prize at the Manhattan International Music Competition.

Peisha McPhee and Sergiu Tuhutziu's Chopin Meets Broadway, with special guests Katharine McPhee and Adriana McPhee, will play two performances only at the Catalina Bar & Grill on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8:30pm.
