Randal Kleiser Directs THE PENIS CHRONICLES at Coast Playhouse, Now thru 12/14
THE PENIS CHRONICLES is a revealing perspective on the male psyche exploring the complex masculine experience. Eight distinctively different New York men of various ages and backgrounds deliver monologues and share their insights, challenges and uncertainties with regard to their masculinity and sexuality, uncovering the emotional barriers that every man confronts on his journey.
ABOUT THE CREATIVE TEAM AND CAST:
RANDAL KLEISER (Director/Producer) first feature Grease remains the most successful movie musical ever made. A fluid imagination is evident in his body of work and his films bring instant recognition with movie fans all over the world. Other features include The Blue Lagoon, White Fang, Flight of the Navigator, It's My Party, North Shore, Lovewrecked and the critically acclaimed comedy Getting it Right.
TOM YEWELL (Playwright/Producer) spent most of the 80's living in Manhattan where two of his plays --Tomato Summer and The Wind Warriors-- were produced by the Love Creek Productions Theater Company. He moved to Los Angeles where he worked as Director of Development in Randal Kleiser Productions. He currently works as an OR Surgical Technologist at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
GREG O'CONNOR (Composer/Producer) is a film and television composer, songwriter and record producer. He is a Prime Time Emmy winner and a four-time Emmy nominee. He composed the scores for over 570 episodes of television including MAD TV, The Ben Stiller Show, Blue Collar TV, David Allen Grier' Chocolate News and The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. He has written Billboard top 20 hits for the legendary rock group Chicago.
LONNIE HENDERSON (Casting Director/Production Manager) Lonnie's career started in Broadway performing as a dancer with the world famous Rockettes at the Radio City Music Hall. He moved to Hollywood where he had recurring roles on The Neighbors, Glee, American Dreams, Miss Congeniality 2, The Longest Yard, Norbit and the film version of Dreamgirls. Lonnie published an epic novel and stage production entitled, Neva~eh: Prince of Black Angels.

THE PENIS CHRONICLES will preview on Thursday, November 6 & Friday, November 7 at 8pm; will open on Saturday, November 8 at 8pm and run through Sunday, December 14 at the Coast Playhouse, 8325 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 3:00pm & 7:00pm. Ticket prices are $30.00 for all performances. $20.00 for Previews.
