RONNIE BRIXTON – THE BEST OF BRITISH BOXING To Make Los Angeles World Premiere
Following its May World Premiere run in Las Vegas, RONNIE BRIXTON - THE BEST OF BRITISH BOXING will be making its Los Angeles Premiere this June at the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
A contrasting and provocative look at the intersection of gender, sports, and identity, RONNIE BRIXTON, a solo show presented from the perspective of a successful BBC British Boxing announcer, is at once hilarious, touching, and deeply moving, and can be seen at the Complex Hollywood's Ruby Theater, 6476 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90038 on select dates from June 2 - June 23rd.
Written by Byron Tidwell and the late Lincoln Hudson, RONNIE BRIXTON stars David Shaughnessy (of Labyrinth fame) in the title role. Recently plagued by tabloid rumors surrounding his romantic life, Ronnie takes the stage to address his fans, take questions, and reveal a secret - one he's held his whole life, and which forms the basis of not only the tabloid rumors, but his very identity.
